Kristin J. Cabranes, MSOM, BS, L.Ac, Licensed Acupuncturist
I have been in the medical field for over 30 years and find the human body fascinating. It never ceases to amaze me how much the body can withstand and its' ability to heal itself when given the proper tools.
Prior to becoming an acupuncturist I worked in the operating room as a private surgical assistant. During this time I expierenced severe headaches and low back pain. I tried numerous modalities to alleviate the pain without success. Eventually, I found acupuncture, which brought me relief from my back pain and headaches. After achieving such successful results I knew I had found my calling and I enrolled at Midwest College of Oriental Medicine. I went on to graduate with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nutrition and a Masters of Science in Oriental Medicine in 2011.
I am nationally board ceritified by The National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) and licensed acupuncturist in the state of Wisconsin.
I balance my life at the clinic with cooking, spending time with my husband and dogs and my passion for quilting.
