Since 2006, Christie has been guiding people toward health through acupuncture and related therapies. For 13 years, she owned and operated Racine Community Acupuncture in Franksville, WI, where patients found comfort and healing in a group setting. After the COVID-19 pandemic brought that chapter to a close, she took time for her own healing before returning to practice—this time focusing on one-on-one care to more deeply uncover and address the root of each patient’s concerns. In 2024, dedicated to compassionate care, Christie accepted ownership of In Balance Acupuncture & Wellness in Kenosha.

Today, Christie integrates Esoteric Acupuncture, Reiki, Traditional Asian Medicine, meditation, and other energetic healing practices to support profound transformation. She remains committed to learning, growing, and trusting her intuition in the healing process.

Her passion is working with people who recognize that pain and the struggles in life are emotional/mental/spiritual needs being created in the physical body because that's the only way to get the attention they need. She loves Esoteric Acupuncture and the opening into the Divine through the crystal structures, through informed, intentional quantum experiences. 

She will always be available to Veterans and offer help with their exceptional, unique experiences. The struggles and realities they have experienced are, gratefully, only imagination for her. Acupuncture is so effective in gently creating a new reality, allowing the release of old patterns through very subtle realms. The shifts can be immediate or take some time, but they're real and they're effective (as you know). She couples that with hands on work - which is more supportive than manipulative. 
In Balance Acupuncture & Wellness Center participates in the Veterans Administration Community Care Program treating veterans at no cost to them once they are authorized and referred by the VA to her care.

Outside the clinic, Christie enjoys time with her Newfoundland puppy, traveling, and finding restoration along the shores of Lake Michigan.

Emily Fillicetti

Emily practices Traditional Chinese Medicine. She creates an inviting and safe space to heal and find peace. She uses Acupuncture, fire cupping, Tui Na (Chinese style massage) and gua sha (technique to reduce swelling and boost circulation) therapies, herbal medicine, and energy work to nurture and support your entire being.  Each treatment is individualized to your needs and adapts to your body’s responses. Emily is committed to supporting you at every stage of life. Her treatments can diminish symptoms of chronic conditions, support healing from injury or surgery, relieve anxiety, improve sleep and improve symptoms associated with a variety of women’s health concerns.

Our knowledgeable administrative staff, Kim Spann, is dedicated to making you feel welcome and at home during every visit to In Balance Acupuncture and Wellness, LLC.  We​ will happily answer any questions or concerns regarding your appointments, payments, and other scheduling needs.  You can schedule your appointments in person, over the phone or online.  ​

Clinic Policies

In Balance Acupuncture & Wellness values you as a client and the time you take to maintain your life's balance. We try to always run on time and respect that in this busy world people have places to be and things to do.   We ask the same of you and adhere to a very strict cancellation and appointment policy.

• Please show up On Time. If you are more than 15 minutes late for an appointment, the clinic reserves the right to reschedule it. 
• We require a 24 hour cancellation notice.
• ​If you do not show up for your appointment without cancelling you may be responsible for full payment of that appointment.  
• Cell Phones and Electronics must be on silent when in the clinic, to provide a calm and serene atmosphere for all our clients.
